Kantipur
School of Dentistry and Dental Hospital was established
in 1997 with a motive of bridging the gap between
the service providers and service needs of the
people. We have served the people from all parts
of the country. There have been considerable improvements
in the awareness level and oral health status
of people during a decade. Now, the foremost challenge
is to narrow down the disparity between the urban
and rural areas of the country. And for this,
we have been conducting series of free dental
camps at various places throughout the country.

To meet the existing
need of dental health professionals, we have been
producing the dental health professionals through
different courses such as 2 years Dental Hygiene,
Certificate in Dental Science and Dental Lab Technician.
Likewise KSD has extended its branch in Pokhara.
Satellite centres have been established in different
parts of the country to make the services accessible
to all. KSD and DH have been working in collaboration
with Gandaki Rural Hospital, HELP Himalaya- Nepal,
Stephens School and Rotary Club of Kathmandu-
North.
