We have also been conducting different seminars and workshops in collaboration with INHOLLAND University of Netherland and Buddhi Bangara Japan. Different skilled professionals from INHOLLAND University and Buddhi Bangara Japan visit KSD and DH frequently to provide training to the dental professionals in order to uplift the skills of those professionals.

 

Exibition:

The exhibition was organized within the periphery of KSD and DH successfully. The aim of exhibition program was to disseminate information and awareness focused at urban community. The students from Kantipur School of dentistry were mobilized to disseminate the information through the exhibition. At the time the exhibition was being executed, there was a separate corner where information of different oral diseases was displayed through slide projector. Most of the students from different colleges were participated in the program.


 

 

Seminar/ Workshop on "Dental Digital Imaging"

A Seminar was organized by Kantipur School of Dentistry and Dental Hospital on "Dental Digital Imaging" on 5th October 2002 at Radisson Hotel, Kathmandu. The seminar was organized with an objective of introducing new technology which would be beneficial in oral and maxillofacial surgery in the field of dentistry. The key presenter was Dr. Allan G. Farman, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist from the University Of Luis Ville, USA. There was the participation of about 10-15 Dental Surgeons from different hospitals such as Peoples' Dental College, Kantipur Dental Hospital who were also certified after the completion of the program. Dental digital imaging is a computerized system which is beneficial in protecting dental professionals from radiation hazards during exposure to x-rays.

Seminar/ Workshop on "Oral Hygiene Maintenance

Kantipur School of Dentistry and Dental Hospital in association with Buddhi Bangara Japan had organized 1st National Level Seminar/ Workshop on "Oral Hygiene Maintenance" among licensed Dental Hygienists on December 24-25 at Radisson Hotel, Kathmandu. The major objective of organizing the workshop/ seminar was to uplift the skills of Dental Hygienists and assistants working in different medical colleges, dental colleges, hospitals, dental hospitals, nursing homes and clinics to promote quality services to the people. The seminar/ workshop were conducted by skilled Japanese Professionals. The program was successfully conducted with the participation of 26 Dental Hygienists from 13 different districts.
